Is my data private?
Yes. Documents belong to your workspace and are only visible to you and members you invite. Nothing is shared unless you explicitly publish a collection to the public Explore page.
How do citations work?
Every AI answer is grounded in your documents. Answers include citation chips that link to the exact page a claim came from, so you can open the PDF and verify it in one click.
What AI models power Paperatory?
Chat is powered by OpenAI models with tool-calling over your library, and search uses Google Gemini embeddings for both text and page images.
Are there limits on the free plan?
The free plan includes 50 PDFs, 512 MB of storage, and 5 AI chat messages per hour — enough to build a real library. Paid plans raise those limits substantially.
Can I use Paperatory with my team?
